Help/Integrations & tracking/Google Ads permissions
Google Ads permissions
Updated 2026-04-11

Why permissions fail

Connections usually fail because the Google user doesn’t have access to the correct Ads account or is missing required role permissions.

Best practice

Create a dedicated integration Google user and grant it stable access. This prevents connections breaking when employees leave or permissions change.

Common roles

  • Admin: safest for setup
  • Standard: typically enough for management
  • Read-only: will not allow management actions

Tip

If no accounts appear after authorization, you are signed into the wrong Google user or that user has no Ads access.
